PILOT TRAVEL CENTERS LLC TO OPEN NEW TRAVEL CENTER IN STURBRIDGE

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Effective March 8, Knoxville-based Pilot Travel Centers LLC will acquire the Sturbridge Isle Truck Stop in Sturbridge, Mass.

The two-building truck stop will be converted into a Pilot Travel Center, featuring six diesel and four gasoline islands.

"The set up at this location is quite different from our other facilities in that the convenience store and travel center are separate buildings," said Pilot CEO Jimmy Haslam. "It's a great location that will serve our customers very well."

The Sturbridge travel center is located in Worcester County at Exit 1 off Interstate 84 on Haynes Street.

Pilot Travel Centers include a wide variety of amenities for all types of over-the-road travelers. In Sturbridge, the travel center will provide customers with six showers, a gaming area, and a deli.

John Brown is the regional manager, Najib Tegey is the division manager and Jason Caraglior is the general manager of Pilot's Sturbridge travel center.

Pilot Travel Centers LLC operates 261 travel centers in 38 states and licenses 13 locations throughout Kansas, Montana, Iowa and Nebraska. The company employs approximately 13,000 people nationwide.
