PILOT TRAVEL CENTERS LLC PURCHASES TWO KENTUCKY LOCATIONS

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Effective today, Knoxville-based Pilot Travel Centers LLC has acquired two central-Kentucky travel centers from Davis Brothers Oil, Inc.

"These acquisitions give us 19 locations in Kentucky, and 16 along the high-traffic I-65 corridor from Indiana to Alabama," said Pilot CEO Jimmy Haslam. "The professional drivers and automobile travelers who rely on us for fuel, food and shopping will benefit from the added convenience of having two more Pilots on this major North-South route."

The two travel centers are located at Lebanon Junction, about 32 miles south of Louisville, and at Sonora, about 55 miles south of Louisville.

The Lebanon Junction travel center, located at Exit 105 on I-65, features Subway and McDonald’s restaurants. Ronnie Smith is the travel center’s general manager.

The Sonora travel center, located near Exit 81 on I-65, features a Subway restaurant. The travel center’s general manager is Eddie Sallee.

Don Scott is the regional manager and Rick Ellison is the division director of both travel centers.

Pilot Travel Centers LLC operates 260 travel centers in 38 states and licenses 10 locations throughout Kansas, Montana and Nebraska. The company employs approximately 13,000 people.
